A lot of people will do this manually by running the report, saving the results. Then emailing it to their Manager. Now this doesn’t sound like a big deal until you go away on holidays. And you need someone else to create the report for you.
There is an easier way to do this rather than manually. Iin a nutshell, what you do is setup an email subscription to the report. This will create the report on a set schedule and it will email it to you (the user) or group that you want. This is really handy for reports that you want to send out on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

One of the key items to remember about subscriptions is that you have to run them at off-peak times. You don’t want to overload the server during busy business hours. This is why I like to make all of my subscriptions happen in the wee hours of the morning. Plus it has the added bonus of being in the Manager’s inbox first thing in the morning.
