For those new to System Center Configuration Manager (CM), finding log files can be a bit of a hassle, so here’s a brief guide to help you locate these files.
CM 2012
The site server log files are found here: <Install location>\Logs. In my case it is D:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs.
In general the site server’s preferred location for client log files is here: Drive:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\Logs.
For CM 2012 clients, the log file location will always be found in the same location, %windir%\CCM\Logs. In my case it is C:\Windows\CCM\Logs.
