Last Chance to Help Choose Enhansoft’s Next Free SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Report for the Month of May
The report choices in April’s poll are: Computer Printer Details OR Count of PCs by Installed Years. The voting for these reports is very close, so if you haven’t voted yet in our poll make sure to vote for your favorite report today.
a) The Computer Printer Details report will show you all of the local printers attached to a specific PC. This report will also tell you what port each printer uses and each printer’s capabilities. Knowing this information is useful for various reasons including ensuring that there is sufficient toner or ink on hand.
In the full-feature set, this is the final drill through report from List of PCs by Printer.
b) The Count of PCs by Installed Years report will display a count of PCs installed for each year. This will help you understand the volume of Operating System (OS) installs by retrieving the PC installation date. You can also get a very rough idea about the age of your PC hardware by understanding how many computers are installed each year.
Please Note: If any imaging, such as Windows Imaging format (WIM) or Ghost, was used then the install date might be listed as the date the image was created and not the actual install date of a particular PC.
In the full-feature set, this report will drill through to Count of PCs by Installed Months, which in turn drills through to List of PCs by Installed Year and Month, which will drill through to Computer Operating System Details.
All of our reports have the Role-Based Administration (RBA) feature enabled. This means that if you are using System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager, these reports will work with all RBA clients. Don’t worry if you are not using SCCM 2012 R2 because you can still run these reports as usual.
