Last Chance to Help Choose Enhansoft’s Next Free SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Report for the Month of April
The report choices in March’s poll are: SCEP Computer Details OR Count of Processor Scores. Currently, SCEP Computer Details is ahead with 88% of the vote. The winning report will become April’s free SSRS report and we will make an announcement about it later this week.
a) The SCEP Computer Details report will give you a good overview of the System Center Endpoint Protection status (including malware detection) for a specific PC.
Please note that this SCEP report is only intended for use with ConfigMgr 2012 and ConfigMgr 2012 R2.
One of the interesting facts that we learned while creating this report was that, unlike many other anti-virus software products available on the market, SCEP uses three different items (anti-virus signature version, engine version, and client version) to detect the latest malware. If you have never heard of client version (sometimes called platform version) you are not alone. Many people are unaware that they need to update the client version on all PCs. Client version is important because it enables up-to-date detection of malware on PCs.
In the full-feature set, this is the final drill through report from List of PCs by SCEP Anti-Virus Signature Version, List of PCs by SCEP Client Version, and List of PCs by SCEP Engine Version.
b) The Count of Processor Scores report will provide you with a count of all of the Windows Experience Index system component processor scores in your environment. Knowing this information allows you to ensure that the PCs in your environment meet the minimum standards of performance for an application, thereby improving end-user satisfaction.
For more details about Microsoft’s Windows Experience Index, please see the following links:
In the full-feature set, you can drill through from this report to List of PCs by Processor Score, which in turn drills through to Computer Windows Experience Index Details.
All of our reports have the Role-Based Administration (RBA) feature enabled. This means that if you are using System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager, these reports will work with all RBA clients. Don’t worry if you are not using SCCM 2012 R2 because you can still run these reports as usual.
