What Reporting Tool Is Right for You?
Back to my earlier question, “Does it matter if the new report is a SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report, a Power BI report or an Excel spreadsheet?” There isn’t one simple answer, however, in this day and age, who can ignore Power BI? No one! In order to get the most out of SCCM, you need to report on the information within SCCM. You might need a report that is as simple as a count of software titles to a more complex report such as the overall compliance of software updates within your SCCM environment. As many of you know we love reporting here at Enhansoft, so it doesn’t matter if it is SSRS, Power BI or even Excel. Using the right tool is important and Power BI should be one of those tools in your arsenal. We hope this eBook gets you started on the right path with Power BI.
